Websites require server space - somewhere for your files to be stored and accessed from. This server space is called HOSTING. You pay a monthly fee to rent server space from us or any other hosting provider. Are all hosting providers the same? Absolutely not, but many offer very similar features.
Websites also require designing - you have the option to use a template or contract a company such as WKTU to do your designs for you. Templates are a wonderful asset - and they are cost effective and can produce very good looking and well designed websites. If you are looking for an option where the cost is low, and you don't mind getting your hands dirty and developing a site on your own, templates may be the option for you. If I just want e-mail addresses on my own domain name, do I need hosting too?
Yes - just like a website, your e-mail has to be stored somewhere and be accessed from somewhere on the internet. Even if you only get your e-mail through Outlook or Thunderbird, it still is stored on a server until you decide to check your e-mail and download it.
Our hosting packages start at $5/month and include e-mail addresses accessible through e-mail clients such as MS-Outlook, MS-Outlook Express, Thunderbird, or any other e-mail client that can access POP or IMAP e-mail accounts (virtually any out there). We also provide webmail portals so that you can get your e-mail via your web browser for when you're on the go.
Generally, your e-mail addresses are hosted at the same place that your website is hosted - but this is not always the case. If you already have e-mail somewhere else, we can host your website, or vice versa. We can help you plan out the best solution to fit your needs.

Coding a website takes a lot more time than you'd think, because there are many things needed to actually get it to display on your page, and compatibility and standards such as W3C and CSS. We do our best to make sure your website is compatible all of the recent versions of the most popular browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome, and even iPhone/Blackberry and other mobile browsers! All that said to say, you can control the cost of your own website by choosing what you want on it, and what you want it to do. If you ever want to add to your website after the contract is completed, our currently hourly rate for design and development work is $35/hour.
